About
Who am i?
I spend my days designing for digital retail platforms, transactional systems, and consumer products where "just winging it" isn't an option. The people using these tools are often multi-tasking, high-intent, and have actual goals to achieve.
My job is to get out of their way. Working in cross-functional product teams, I rely on real user insights rather than making educated guesses with limited data. I build scalable component-driven design systems from scratch and optimize complex responsive layouts. What stays constant is asking the right questions, collaborating with people who know more than me, and shipping things that actually help!
Currently, I'm at Meridian Health working on experiences for mental health clinicians and administrators. Before that, I spent almost two years at StyleBook helping salons manage their businesses (and discovering that stylists have very strong opinions about scheduling interfaces, which I deeply respect).
Why, not what
Starting with why, not what
Before jumping into Figma or pushing pixels, I need to understand the underlying problem we are actually trying to solve. Often, the immediate feature request isn't what users actually need. My favorite projects begin with deep questions, product discovery, and cross-functional alignment, ending with interface solutions that feel completely obvious in hindsight.
think first, draw later.
no perfect world here!
Designing for real constraints
Perfect design conditions don't exist. Production timelines are tight, engineering systems carry legacy constraints, and business KPIs are aggressive. I thrive within these boundaries. I am comfortable making smart UI decisions with imperfect information and finding highly functional interface solutions within technical limitations.
Collaboration over hero design
The best product work happens when UI designers, UX architects, developers, and product managers collaborate in continuous feedback loops. I don't believe in throwing designs over the wall. I focus on early engineer alignment, practical hand-offs, and shared design systems to ensure the final product matches the pixel-perfect vision.
we, not me.
details build trust.
Making the invisible visible
Some of the most critical user interface work isn't flashy, it's the micro-interactions, clear error states, accessible hierarchy, and intuitive navigation logic that prevents user friction. True visual polish should build immediate trust, making a complex digital journey feel completely seamless and reliable.
Where I've been

Currys
Designing across scheduling, case management, treatment planning, and clinical documentation for mental health practices. The challenge is balancing what clinicians need with what administrators need—often very different things—while keeping everything HIPAA-compliant and actually usable.
2026 - Current

Sky Creative
Optimized mobile and desktop layouts across high-traffic digital platforms through agile sprints and A/B testing. Scaled a multi-brand design system, championed WCAG standards, and bridged the gap to engineering with clear documentation.
2023 - 2026

TotallyMoney
Led mobile-first UI for core fintech features, managing credit dashboards, offer cards, and onboarding journeys. Standardized design system components for cohesive shipping while balancing product and marketing goals with intuitive layouts.
2021 - 2022

Freelancing
A fast-paced creative playground where I did it all. Built custom responsive websites from the ground up, directed vibrant brand artwork, illustrated eye-catching album covers, and engineered slick motion graphics pieces, blending sharp digital execution with raw, energetic visual storytelling.
